I am a highly experienced and fully accredited psychotherapist and ethicist specializing in the area of ethical counseling, humanistic, integrative, SFBT, and existential therapeutic engagement with clients, which is wholly person-centred. I have taught at Trinity College Dublin and serve as a Masters supervisor in Counselling & Psychotherapy with the Irish College of Humanities & Applied Sciences, and I work with the Wexford Rape Crisis Centre. My focus is on providing mental health support in a compassionate, ethical, and confidential manner to clients aged 16+ who are experiencing various emotional distresses including anxiety, depression, bereavement, emotional stress, self-esteem issues, abuse, self-harm, gender variance, personal development, relationship challenges, and trauma. Over the last 20 years, I have contributed to Government strategies on mental health and developed a unique and empowering modality of psychotherapy known as 'Victor Therapy.' This model of therapeutic engagement is founded on deeply humanistic principles, and my core belief is that therapy should always be guided by genuine care and compassion. The environment within which I work is non-judgemental, respectful, and dynamic, reflecting the values of effective therapy in Wexford.
